Hi my name is Bailee and we go to AFL. All of the year 7s and year 8s do AFL in the school. People from this AFL company come to our school and they teach us different games and they keep us fit and healthy. We need to be fit and healthy in life so we live longer and can live our life beter.

The AFL people have taught us how to do a drop punt and a hand ball with a ice cream cone. And when we had to throw a rugby ball at the ground and it comes back at us 5 time. Then we had to jog wheel throwing it 5 times then running and throwing it 5 times too.

Then we had a competition it was spiderman vs batman I was spiderman we had to throw a rugby ball at the ground 2 times then do a robot dance and the end and then throw the ball again 2 times all the way back and sit down on the ground with our hands on our head. Our team won then the other team got jellies.

How I’m Going To Build My Instrument

How I’m Going To Build My Instrument

I’m going to build my drums from toilet rolls,baby tins,seller tape,paint and some thing to drill some holes in the baby tins. So that I can put the toilet rolls in the sides of the baby tins and then put seller tape on it so it sticks and in the inside of the container.

After that Miss Paget gets 4 baby tins,paint,seller tape and some thing to drill some holes in my baby tin. Then I will paint the baby tins black and I will draw a some patterns and flames on it and then it would look cool and not budget.

after that I think it will be ready and ill test to see if it works I think it will work and not be a fail. Because when I put holes in the baby tins and then bang the baby tins the sound will reflect off the sides and of the baby tins and make different  sound waves by putting the holes higher or lower.

Pro's and con's of being a docter

pro’s And Con’s Of Being A Doctor

The Pro’s that I want to be a doctor: I want to be a doctor because they get heaps of money and you can help people. I think being a doctor might be cool because you will have to help people and might get some new friends.

The con’s about a doctor: It would be not really bad if one of the people that you try and save might die. And some people there might disrespect you and say mean stuff. being a doctor would be hard but ill give it all I got

I think being a doctor would be kind of cool the only thing that I would like is helping people and making new friends in life and once I give good to another person good might come back at me.

Swimming lessons

Swimming lessons

Some of the week’s class 5 has to go swimming. We go to swimming to learn how to swim not to have fun at the pools with your friends we swim there so we can learn to swim like if we are drowning we would now how to swim and not sink to the bottom.

When we go swimming we have to go to Glen Innes pools.But when we get to the pools we have to walk not run our speed walk. If we do we might slip or fall in the pool on accident

New Zealand has one of the most drowning problem in the world. maybe more than Australia. learning to swim is very important in New Zealand. And when we are at the pools the instructors tell us how to do it and tell us that we have to do like 2 times

In class 5 we were doing science experiments about sound. The experiment was called making sound it is the picture down the bottom. 

When you hear sound it can be very loud our quiet. You
can almost here sound every were around the world. 

 When yell in a cave the sound reflects of the walls and back at your ear's. When you yell out side the sound doe's not reflect of any thing and back at you.

In the school holidays I went to Waiheke island with my grandma and granddad for a week it was cool we went to the movies at the cinema and buyed mum a present for her birthday on Thursday. Her birthday was on sunday I got my mum a picture and my grandma got her a merino top and hand warmers they were green. After that I went back home on saturday and gave the present to her on her birthday she liked it.

After that I went to my cousins house and we were waiting in the lounge for dora the dog having puppies in the bedroom my nan said we could have one of the quiet puppies. they were so quiet nane let us hold the puppies. And thats all I did in the school holidays.

What Happened At Assembly On Monday

Team 1 is doing were does the stuff go in the zoo and how to be a zoo keeper ladder in life and to keep the animals safe and people by putting electric wire and metal bars so the animals don't runaway.

Team 2 is doing flit and how things fly in the sky and float. How did the hot air balloons fly and float in the sky well you  can ask Team 2 how does it float. How does the airplanes fly in the sky so fast well any thing that floats or fly fast you can ask Team 2.

Team 3 is doing collars and how do we see collars.When we see black no collars reflect back at our eyes because black is not a color but when we see pink some of the colors reflect back at our eyes. And if you want to know more about colors you can ask team 3.


Team 4 is doing how do things flout and sink. A rock can not flout because it does not have any air in it to make it flout. A bout can flout on top of the water because it has a hole lot of air in the bout rushing every were. And if you want to know more about how do things flout and sink you can ask team 4.

Team 5 is doing sound and how can you hear sound. well sound is made when some one is talking our making music when you are in a cave and you strum your guitar our yell the sound will echo of the walls. When you yell in your house our strum your guitar it will not echo of the walls. And if you want to know more about how sound is made and other stuff you can ask team 5.
